As an incoming master's student at Leiden University, it may feel overwhelming to start in a new city, possibly a new country, and build a social life from scratch. If you would like someone to support you through this process, you can sign up for the newly implemented ‘Be My Buddy’ program. This project aims to pair you up with an experienced master’s or bachelor’s student!

Become A Buddy
Are you an experienced student of political science looking to make a positive impact on the experience of new master’s students? Join our ‘Be My Buddy’ program and become a buddy for first-year master’s students! This project aims to pair you up with a new master’s student, for whom you will be a point of contact for everyday questions about living in the Netherlands and studying at Leiden University.

What We Expect
We expect candidates to write a brief motivation letter, including a short introduction about themselves and why they want to become a buddy.
