Our curriculum vitaes (CVs) are a display of carefully selected successes and wherever possible we minimize those parts that may be perceived negatively. However, behind every success and happy moment lies a story of resilience and perseverance after something did not completely go as planned.
To normalise talking about “failure” at our university, the student well-being departments in the Hague are joining forces to create a ‘CV of Failures Exposition’. In this exposition, the CVs of a diverse range of staff will be displayed at the Wijnhaven building. By sharing their story, we aim to destigmatise failure and encourage visitors to reflect on their own experiences in a new light.
This form is to sign up for the opening event of the exhibition:
