Group SMS

 
The feature "Group SMS" enables you to send a personal SMS message to all your respondents at once. You can for example use this feature with an events form to send out reminders before the event takes place or a thank you message afterwards.

Try out the additional feature

The group SMS together with the SMS verification and the SMS messages upon form completion completes the SMS additonal feature.
This means that it can be purchased with standard subscriptions while it is included with business subscriptions. You will also need SMS credits which you can buy at an SMS provider.

Try it first: Before you purchase the feature or buy SMS credits you have the option to try out the feature first. You have 10 SMS credits free of charge.
 

Create a group SMS

To be able to use this functionality it is required to ask for a country code and a phone number in your form on which SMS messages can be received. If your all your users are from the same country you can set the country code to a fixed country code (Default value) and hide the quetions (section Extra).
 
You can create a group SMS after your form has at least once been completed with a telephone number provided. To do this, open the results overview and click on the button "Group SMS" at the top of the screen.
 
 
 

Filters

By using filters in the results overview screen you can narrow down the results. When you have a filter active, the group SMS will be sent to these respondents only.
 

Setup an SMS provider

If you decide to use the SMS add on, you will need to choose an SMS provider and connect it to your Formdesk account. To do so, go to your forms summary and click on the button ‘Account data’ followed by the ‘SMS’ tab.
